Many Evil Times

For the grand finale to our Dallas trip, we visited Medieval Times for dinner and a show.  Dorky fun fact for the day: Damon and I went to Medieval Times in Orlando on our honeymoon and loved it.  Damon is basically all about any theatre experience in which there is both a performance and a meal. We dressed our ladies fair in some of their most Renaissance-looking princess attire for the visit.  Poor Watts only has a Peter Pan costume so far, and I couldn't figure out how to relate that to the Renaissance.  Maybe I should have said he was Robin Hood? Oh, well, missed opportunity.  Here is our group minus Daddy who was behind the lens...
Fair Cille...
I am a little worried about this kid.  She is a bit of a flirt...

Watts didn't really see what all the fuss was about...

"I shall call her: Mini-Me!"

Watts was a big fan of his flag...
Early in the performance our knight gave Stella a pink carnation, which kind of burned Cille's biscuits because she didn't get a flower.  Imagine how surprised we all were later when she was chosen as the Queen of the Tournament for the green section!  Our knight delivered her carnation at the end of his spear!  Cille was ecstatic!

Our two little princesses with their carnations, compliments of the Green Knight...
The kids had a blast at Medieval Times, even though Stella misunderstood the name and later referred to it as "Many Evil Times." We were worried that the show might be a bit long for them, but when it was over Cille looked at me incredulously and exclaimed, "That's it?!" Apparently she was expecting a little more!  Even Watts enjoyed watching the action.  It really is fun for the whole family, so if you get a chance, be sure to visit.
