Happy Halloween, Part 2

Our Avengers assembled for a sibling photograph...

Or ten...
Zachariah was Hawkeye, thanks to his mom's imagination and a roll of electrical tape...

Aunt Sarah was Agent Carter...

Pawpaw and Mawmaw were The Hulk and Thor...

Daddy was Ironman and Mommy was Pepper Potts...
The Wasp photobombed Tony and Pepper...

Group pics on the way!

Happy Halloween, Part 1

It's that time of year again!  Halloween has become a favorite holiday around our house because we always have friends and family join us and we try to pull off a different family costume theme each year.  We literally start planning our costumes a year in advance at this point, so the big girls are already asking me about the theme for next year.  This year we chose the Marvel Universe, and we had tons of fun!  Cille was Black Widow...
A very sassy Black Widow...

Better not mess with this kid!
Stella was the Scarlet Witch and got a little too into her character for Daddy's taste...

Corinne was The Wasp, who does not have her own movie yet, and therefore looked suspiciously like a bumble bee, whose costume was more readily available...

And we all knew that Watts would be his favorite...

Who were Mom and Dad?  Find out in the next post!

School Pictures

It's school picture time again!  Here is Cille's first grade photo...
 And Stella's third grade shot...

Trick-or-Treating Down the Row

On Sunday afternoon one of Stella's friends invited us to Trick-or-Treat Down the Row, which is an event hosted by Greek Life at LSU.  Stella decided to be a dancer and wore one of her costumes from her last recital...
Cille dressed as Jessie from Toy Story, but we couldn't find her hat.  Watts was Leonardo from the Ninja Turtles, and Corinne was a cute little kitty cat...
The kids had fun posing with some of the real Golden Girls...
The big girls were so sweet to the little ones...

Corinne really just wanted to stop and eat some candy...
She was very surprised by what was in her bucket...

She made another Golden Girl friend...

The kids waited in line to have their faces painted...

More popular than the houses that were giving out candy were the houses that were passing out ice water on a hot day...

Jessie Cat...
A boo-tiful girl...

The face painter's repertoire was not that large, so we told Watts his face was painted like a puppy...
Stella played some games...
And we ran into one of our favorite people...Coach Claire from swim team!
Stella tried to keep Corinne from jumping into the LSU Lakes.  Watts told her that cats aren't supposed to like water...

We had a great time trick or treating on Sorority Row.  I think we'll have to add this to our list of annual Halloween activities.
