Halloween, Part 2

With a condescending sniff Maleficent was out the door to trick or treat...
Aurora had to travel with at least one fairy to protect her...
We saw lots of our friends out on the route...
The neighbors really upped their game this year.  One house was giving out fresh cotton candy!
These two fairies flew around together in spite of their lack of wings...

Without a doubt everyone's favorite house was the one with the make your own S'mores station and the guy from the Dr. Pepper commercials...

Our kids basically hung out at this house until they ran completely out of graham crackers...

We always take a picture with Mrs. Kelly on Halloween!
Some of the decorations were frighteningly good...

Did I mention that we were a host home for one of the Parkview Baptist Church Neighborhood Parties?  The Turner clan was holding down the fort for us while we made our rounds...
Friends...
and sisters!
We had a Sleeping Beaut-iful Halloween!

Halloween, Part 1

Our Halloween theme for this year was Sleeping Beauty, and Stella was ready to be a villain...
But even villains have a goofy side...

This smirk...she's killing me...

Of course, Corinne had to be the star of the show...

Princess hands!

Watts was not on board with the theme until we promised him he could be the dragon version of Maleficent...
That changed his tune...

His school buddy came to celebrate with us...
Cille was Flora, or Fauna, or Merriweather...I can't remember which fairy is pink!

Madeline was the blue fairy, and I had an epic mom fail on these costumes because I BOUGHT WINGS AND THEN FORGOT TO USE THEM!  Ugh...

It was a little too dark before we got any group shots, but here they are.  I was the green fairy, and Damon was Prince Philip (in a costume I cobbled together out of clothes he already had and pieces of an old Gaston costume and an old vampire cape)...

More school friends joined us and their theme was Peter Pan...

The little hunter is channeling Popeye in these pics.  Watts is sometimes more affectionate than his friends want him to be...

More Trick-or-Treating fun to come!
