Recent Pictures Taken by Stella

When our old point and shoot digital camera started having issues we decided that it was time for an upgrade. Instead of throwing something away just because it refuses to stay in picture mode and wants to randomly toggle to video mode, we passed it down to Stella.  Imagine how surprised we were when we popped her SD card in the computer a few months later and discovered these little gems.  May I present: Our Life from Stella's Point of View...

First, her closest backseat neighbor...
Her doll, Caroline...
Her other doll, Izzy...she posed them in her own car seat (while the car was in the driveway...relax!)
Her best friend Molly, minus a few teeth...
Her perpetually hungry dad...
Molly's family minus Mommy...
Mom and Caroline waiting for the pediatrician on one of our sick days last semester...
Self-portrait with Caroline in the doctor's office...
Caroline waiting patiently...
Mawmaw...
The television in the waiting room at the doctor's office.  We go there a lot...
Mawmaw Shirley, who was kind enough to come stay with poor sick Stella so Mom could go to work...
Izzy and Caroline napping...this was on a sick day as evidenced by the bathroom trashcan's proximity to the bed...that means someone was throwing up...
Stella's piggy toes...
Stella's laptop...also a hand-me-down from Mom and Dad...she wanted to use it on her sick day home with Mawmaw Shirley, but unfortunately her great-grandma was not tech savvy enough to get it going...she is heck on an iPhone, however...
The fireplace...
Caroline and Izzy posing in their jammies on a cat blanket...
Stella's favorite sister...
Her favorite brother...looks like he may have been a little upset...
One of her favorite shows...she loves to take pictures or video of television screens...
Me waiting to take her picture at her Tumbling Tigers showoff day...

How our dining room table/laundry folding area normally looks...don't judge...5 people wear a lot of clothes!
Wattsy is crawling!
Mom, on a not very glamorous day...
Watts going for her camera battery...don't worry; it's a safety outlet...
Cille shaking her pompoms...
Mom feeding baby brother...
Cille walking through the living room...the laundry must have all been put up that day...
Cille-punzel in the backyard...
Daddy in the hall...
The men of the family...
Our neighbors asked me to come over and take a few family photos for them while their kids were in town for a visit.  Stella took her camera and snapped a few photos, too.  I think hers actually came out better!  We printed a couple and she gifted them to the sweet family...
Watching The Princess and the Frog in the car...(you can see her snapping the pic in the rearview)
Brother doing what he does best on long car rides...
Selfie...
And finally her dreamlight propped up on her camera case...

Going Home

Bright and early Saturday morning we snapped a few pictures of the girls around the hotel grounds while we waited for the Magical Express...
I am not sure that Cille nailed this pose...

Fun times!
We had a bit of an adventure on our bus ride back to the airport.  Watts had what Stella would term an "exploded diaper" while Damon was holding him on the bus, I had only travel wipes and a couple of diapers to do cleanup with, and there was a wheelchair blocking our access to the bathroom.  By the time we made it to the airport, we had to pitch Watts's outfit and Damon and Stella's shirts.  They bought some new duds in the airport and we were back in business, even though we were holding our breath to see if Watts would make it home without having to pitch his extra outfit.  He did, and we now have a hilarious story to tell about our final bus ride at Disney.  Can't wait until Watts is almost 3 when we'll try to do it all again!  I think I'm gonna go start resting up now...

Dinner at Cinderella's Castle

When we were planning our trip we scheduled dinner at Cinderella's castle as our final activity.  Unfortunately, they only had seating available for 4 people, so we took the reservation with the idea of trying to add to it once we arrived at Disney.  Unfortunately, no one cancelled, so we were stuck with a reservation for only four.  We decided to let this last event be a special "date night" for Daddy, Pawpaw, Stella, and Cille.  Mawmaw, Watts, and I headed back to the room to start packing, and the double date crew got in line to meet the castle's most famous resident...

Cille told Cinderella her life story...
She pointed out Jacques and Gus-Gus...

See?  There they are...

I am not sure what was going on with the sweater in these pictures since I was not there...

The girls obviously had a great visit with Cinderella...
Then it was on to the dining room...
Nice view...

When Snow White stopped by, Cille was still in Chatty Cathy mode.  Snow White asked Stella to be her translator...
...because Cille just talked...
...and talked...
...and talked!

Eventually she stopped to smile and take a breath...
Then she was right back at it...

Next up was Aurora...if you look at Stella's face in these next few you can see just how worn out she was at the end of her week at Disney...

She could hardly hold her eyes open...

Then Ariel stopped by on HUMAN LEGS!

Next came Jasmine and the best story of the night...Cille told Jasmine, "I like your hair, and I like your boobies." I think she really meant her bra-top, but Damon was mortified just the same...

And before the meal was over Stella was a Sleeping Beauty herself...
Make that two sleeping beauties on the bus ride home...
Damon took this of the hotel lobby at night and it is rather pretty...
Two worn out little girls in the elevator...
They made it home just before their carriage turned back into a pumpkin...
