Joe Football

Watts owes all his speed and agility to this guy...thanks, Dre!
As the weather turned cooler, Watts continued to be the cutest football player ever...
His fan club bundled up in the stands...

If this photo doesn't just scream "America," I don't know what does...

Hamilween, Part 2

Mawmaw and Pawpaw escaped the costumes this year, but still came for the candy and cuddles...
Our friends had their own cute theme...
This was a lot of kids to keep up with in the neighborhood...

Cille's friend group, all dressed up and ready for action...
Staci did not dress up, but I let her borrow my phoned-in playbill costume...

All my friends are queens...
The whole crew together: George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, the Playbill, and the Schuyler Sisters...
In a stroke of magnificent luck, Gabi and her friends were dressing as heroes of the American Revolution as well, so we had a special guest appearance by a very pretty Thomas Jefferson...
We saw our sweet neighbor Nora while we were trick or treating...

And Ryan joined the party in progress as King George.  I must say the highlight of the night was his performance playing the piano and singing "You'll Be Back" with a choir full of theater geek kids in Halloween costumes.  Good times!

Everybody had a friend, which made the night so much more fun!

We may have overloaded the side-by-side a little with this trailer, but it was WORTH IT!!!!
Our favorite little vampire...
And Coco's favorite trick or treat stop is always her buddy Mr. Brian...
Stella found some of her dance babies...

Silly pose...
Peggy wants that scepter...
And apparently also Luigi's mustache.  Maybe Peggy had a little too much sugar by this point of the evening...

Happy Hamil-ween!

Hamilween, Part 1

Every year for a while now our entire family has dressed up as a group for Halloween.  Each year there is a lively (and sometimes violent) debate surrounding what costumes and theme we will pick that year.  You can probably imagine that the boy child and the girl children don't always see eye to eye on this topic.  This year the girls were dying to do Hamilton, but Watts was not convinced.  He wanted to be an LSU football player.  It was not until I promised him his own dueling pistol that he jumped onboard.  Isn't he the cutest little Alexander Hamilton in history?  I think so...

Coco was perfectly cast as Peggy.  I loved her dress...
Stella was picture perfect as Angelica, or as we called her, An-Stellica...
Cille was shocked to be Eliza...or rather, Cille-iza...

This little revolutionary war costume is so handsome!  I just love it!

We had lots of friends join us for the celebration, including a beautiful Elsa...

He is not throwing away his shot, that's for sure...

The Halloween photo shoot is one of my annual faves, obviously.  More fun to come!
