Cille's 1st Day of Kindergarten

This is a very big day....Cille is officially a KINDERGARTENER!
It seems like just yesterday she was heading off to pre-K...

This one has a lot of sass...

Recognize this uniform?  It is the same one that Stella rocked on her first day of kindergarten...

And once again, a young sibling had to crash the picture taking...
And an older one...
My sweet little Eagles!
Cille and her teacher...
Cille and her friend, Evan.  They have been friends since they were in the 2 year old class together.  If they grow up and get married, Evan's mom and I will have the sweetest wedding slide show ever...

Have  great year, Cille! We hope your teacher is ready for our spunky gal!

Stella's 1st Day of Second Grade

It is hard to believe, but Stella is now a second grader...
If you would like to reminisce and watch my baby grow, check out other first day of school posts from WEECare, St. Timothy's, Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st grade...

I realize this is a lot of pictures of the same thing, but you must realize that I am her mother and I can't pick just one!

Of course Cille had to get in on the act.  If you checked out the other posts, you will realize this is a recurring theme...

We love you, Stella!  Have a great year in second grade!

Watts's Birthday Party, Part 2

Watts chose a Captain America theme for his party.  It was the first year that he was really interested in characters and we watched The Winter Soldier on repeat for months leading up to the big event...
Corinne was just happy to be there...

 Agent Carter?
We did not host the party at our house this time.  So far each child has had one "on location" party.  I am not a fan, but it worked well for us this year. We had back to back engagements so not having to clean up helped us make it to our next party faster...
 Best buddies...
My little TOT superstar in action...
She gets her mad basketball skills from her mother, obviously...

Who needs bouncers?  For the next party I am just putting Stella in the yard with a couple of hula hoops...

That face means that bounce time is over...

This cake weighed as much as Watts...

 Hey, whose party is this?
Did I mention that Steve Rogers himself stopped by?!  You see, I happen to be close personal friends with Captain America and he took time out of his busy schedule fighting Hydra and whatnot to stop by our party...
(Actually, our family is just blessed with some of the best friends on earth, one of whom was willing to recycle his Halloween costume from last year in order to help Watts have the best birthday ever.  I will not reveal the identity of the masked man, but I hope he knows that we love him and owe him BIG TIME!)
I am pretty sure Cille knew who the man behind the mask was, and she is definitely a fan...
As terrified as Watts looks in this picture, he could not stop talking about Captain America being at his party. How am I going to ever top that next year?
I think Evan recognized this guy...

Thanks to everyone who helped us celebrate Watts's third birthday.  It is truly humbling to be loved so well and we are so thankful that God has blessed us with a family full of friends and friends who have become our family.
