Molly's Pinkalicious Party!

"If there's one thing in the world that we love, more than anything"...it's the Millets and especially Molly Jane!  So obviously, we were super excited about her Pinkalicious 4th birthday party!
Aren't they "tutu" cute?  (Yes, 7th graders, that is a pun.)
Stella in action in the bouncer.  She's the pink ball of fluff in the background...
Stella and friends enjoying the crown making station...
Luckily, Stella didn't eat enough pink cupcakes to actually change her pigmentation...
Cille was all pinked out, too!  I tweeted this photo and actually got a reply from Pinkalicious herself!
Sometimes you need to hold your nose when you eat green food...(I'm not really sure that applies to sugar cookies with green icing, though)
Hayride time!  Ethan's arm is around Stella because I asked the poor kid to hold onto her.  He is such a good big brother...
Meanwhile, Cille was absolutely fascinated by her friend Evans...
Cake time!  Mrs. Marylou made the pink velvet cake, and it was yummy!
Mommy even dressed as Dr. Wink and read Pinkalicious to the party guests...
It was a beautiful day for a party and we had a great time celebrating with everyone. Happy Birthday, Molly Jane!

The boys are back in town!

And the girls are, too. Yes, our friendly neighborhood ducks have reemerged from wherever they were hiding during the cold weather and they are once again roaming the streets looking for handouts. Stella was eager to introduce Cille to her fine feathered friends...
I am pretty sure that one of these gals is Baby Bird...

Valentines with Mawmaw and Pawpaw and Mawmaw Shirley

If you thought that was enough Valentine's Day fun, you were wrong! The party continued after we got home. Mawmaw, Pawpaw, and Mawmaw Shirley came over with some sweet surprises for the girls...
Stella had a few tricks up her sleeve as well, and surprised them all with handmade cards...
She also informed them that they were not allowed to take their cards home.  Stella volunteered to keep the cards for Mawmaw and Pawpaw so that their dogs wouldn't tear them up...(I'm so glad she understands all the reasons that we don't have animals!)
Cille was excited about her Valentines also...
Oooh, a pretty Tangled shirt!
Her favorite part was the tag...

Be Mine Part 3

Stella now had the decorating fever, so she decided to decorate a couple of cookies and feed them to Mommy and Daddy. She gathered lots of supplies...
And got busy!
We'll top it with a few heart-shaped marshmallows...
And some pink sparkle icing...
Look what I made you, Daddy!
The Guillory girls finally discovered that Cille was loving on their daddy, and they had to come over to get in on some of the action.  Stella was running around the fellowship hall in a sugar frenzy by this time.  Notice her in motion in the background...
Talia loves "Baby Cille"...
That's a lapful of girls!
Stella was actually sitting on the middle of this toy while Emma, Sadie, and Talia pedaled and spun her around, but she got off before I could snap a picture.  Sadie was happy to pose for me, though...
We had a great time celebrating Valentine's Day with so many of the people we love!

Be Mine Part 2

After the pizza was in the oven, it was time to head on over to the cookie decorating station. When we got there we discovered that Stella would not be able to eat the cookies because there was a peanut warning on the package. Aw, nuts! Not to worry, we rustled up some graham crackers out of a Sunday school cabinet and Stella got to work...
She decided to use two different kinds of sprinkles on her masterpiece...
And making that first one was so fun that we had to do another one.  This one was pinkalicious...
Taste test...
So serious...
I mean, seriously delicious!
Trying to figure out what else this cookie needs...
A finished product...
And the other one...
And look!  The pizza's done!

Be Mine Part 1

Last Saturday we went to church to participate in Sweetheart Pizza Day. There were too many pictures for just one post, so enjoy this 3 part series.  First on our agenda was making mini heart-shaped pizzas together...
Stella preparing to spread the sauce...(she at first claimed that she did not like sauce, but we convinced her to try some)
Careful...
Doesn't she look enthusiastic?
I think Cille found her Valentine...
Time for some cheese...
The finished product, pre-oven.  There are no pepperonis, because, as we all know, Stella does not like pepperonis.  Unless I have them, in which case she begs to try one and tells me it is yummy...
Now it's time to teach Mommy how to make a pizza.  With enough help from Stella, maybe I will learn to cook one day...
Meanwhile, Cille still only has eyes for John...
We're ready to send our pizzas to the oven!

Making Valentines

With Valentine's Day approaching, Stella and I sent Daddy out in search of card making supplies.  I knew Stella would enjoy the activity and I figured the grandparents would be appreciative of the artwork, so it was a win-win situation, right?  Tell that to my floor and tablecloth, which became the recipients of much glitter glue and heart confetti...
We used the girls' hands and feet for the cards, and we had two messages: "You're the best, hands down!" and "Stepping over to say Happy Valentine's Day!"
We really had fun making a mess, I mean, our Valentine's Day cards...
