Strawberry Patch Kids

One of the best parts of spring is taking a trip to Mrs. Heather's Strawberry Patch for some fresh air and sunshine.  I loaded up my 5 favorite kids and set out...
They caught some air on the blob...

Cracked corn and did not care one bit...

Stella actually broke her collarbone on my birthday in a tragic Red-Rover incident with one of her best friends at school, so she was not able to bounce with the rest of the kiddos...
Corinne finds new friends wherever she goes...

It's not really a trip to the patch until some blood is spilt.  Corinne was the lucky winner this time...
They really milked the day for all it was worth...

Crazy hair, doesn't care...

It was a little warm in the patch if you can't tell...

What a fun day!  It was actually too wet for the strawberries, and they had all rotted on the vine.  We bought a flat of good ones and skipped the picking.

PBS Gala

There aren't a lot of photos of Mom and Dad on the blog, so I wanted to include this one so that one day the kids can have evidence that:
1. Sometimes we took showers
2. Sometimes we got dressed up
3. Sometimes we went places without them and had fun as a couple

The reason we were all dressed up was a fundraising gala for their school, so even when we were out having fun it was really all about them.  Haha!

Lugnuts Baseball

We are very proud of our Wattsy-boy because he tried out for the Lugnuts baseball team and earned a spot.    He and his team have been working hard with their coaches to get game ready.  We are less proud of his mother who could not find his black belt in time for the game...
Great job, buddy!  We love cheering on our favorite baseball player.  Go 'Nuts!
