Tripp is 2! (part 1)

Grandma Tonie requested that Tripp postpone his birthday party to coincide with her Halloween visit (she is our treat passer-outer, and by the way, this year we gave play-doh and it was a BIG hit!), and he graciously agreed.  Or I should say his mom agreed, because I don't think he really cared one way or the other.  Sarah is in school this semester and working, so she has been a little pressed for time.  This gave me a great excuse to do something that I love and help out with his party planning.  He loves Monsters University, so we used that for the theme.  I have not really done the character themed parties in the past, or at least not character themed parties that the store actually has merchandise for, so I was pleasantly surprised at just how easy it was to decorate for this party.  I think the balloons were the best ones that we ever had and they literally came prepackaged.  It was AWESOME...
The birthday boy...
Bouncing around with Uncle Damon...
Not sure what Stella is doing...checking for fleas?

My favorite picture from the party...nice themed shirt, Tripp...

One thing Sarah excels at is keeping the guest list short enough to give you plenty of time to actually play with the kids...perhaps I should remember this next March...

Tripp and Watts had plenty of entertaining interactions during the party...
Tickle attack...

I like this picture, too...
You would never believe that this kid would be running fever by nightfall...
How sweet...she's sharing her germs with her cousin...

Hugs for her little monster...

They had some brother business to take care of...
Tripp likes to play peek-a-boo, but Watts thinks he's crazy...
More birthday fun to come!
