Tabitha's Wedding and Reception

By some miracle we made it to the pavilion on time for the wedding and even had time to pose for a family photo before things got underway.  A ballerina stopped by to be in our picture...
It was C-O-L-D at the open-air pavilion on the lake at sunset, but the girls were prepared and spent some time warming up in the heated bathroom...
Unfortunately, this is the best pic that we have of Stella going down the aisle.  She and Jude were supposed to unroll a white runner for Tab to walk on, but it malfunctioned and they just escorted each other down.  They were super cute...
When the other flower girl got distracted from her mission, Cille didn't miss a beat and continued to make her way down the aisle scattering her flowers daintily.  We were a little nervous about how she was going to throw the flowers because Pop had encouraged her to pitch them like a baseball.  You can never really be sure what Cille is going to do, but we were glad she chose to be ladylike this time...
Making her exit...
Stella and Jude decided NOT to touch each other on the way out...
Warming up while they waited to take pictures...

My little Eskimo baby and my sweet hubby who is impervious to cold...
We made it to the reception!  Much warmer in here...
If you are wondering what is on Cille's face, it is chocolate.  Tab's reception featured a candy bar where kids and grown ups alike could feast on gigantic pixie sticks, M&M's with Tab and Seth's picture on them,  and all manner of delicious junk food.  Pop made sure that each girl had her own candy bag and that it remained full ALL. NIGHT. LONG...
And eating all that candy had absolutely no effect whatsoever on their behavior...NOT...

They got a little loopy as the reception wore on...

This is pretty much how Stella spent the evening...at the bottom of a pixie stick...

Meeting up with their supplier...

Wow.  Just wow...
The bag's empty!  But if Pop has anything to do with it, it won't be for long!
Piper really wanted to hug Watts.  He was not interested...
Eventually Watts was even scavenging sixlets off the floor...
More reception fun tomorrow!
