1 Little, 2 Little...7 Little Wildcats

On Sunday Stella, Damon, and I had the opportunity to head to the hill in Pineville to visit with some college friends and meet some of their kiddos for the first time. We came from almost every major city in Louisiana (Laura came from Shreveport where she was home visiting family, Kelly came from Lake Charles, Angel drove in from her parents' house in Monroe, and Damon and I came up from his parents' near Baton Rouge) and made ourselves right at home at the lovely Sharbono house, which is kind of an amusement park of sorts for the toddler set. Before heading to Nathan and Jen's, Stella and Audrey did some swinging at LC. They were on the swing in front of Tudor Hall; I wonder what this means for their future? Sarah Grace Maxey...the oldest of our bunch and too cute for words...
Stella helped Carrie Beth get back into her shoes after some serious mountain climbing outside the cafeteria...
Damon and a little over 60 pounds of fun at Outlaw's Barbeque...
Rylie and Sadie were sweet enough to share their toys with the older girls. Those little Sharbonos can really hold their own with the big kids...
Audrey and her Mommy in the tres chic Sharbono nursery...
The best friends a girl could ask for and our hosts for the day...
This picture is missing 3, but Sadie and Rylie were asleep and Jen insisted on playing photographer. From left to right: Scarlett and Stella, Kelli and Olivia, Laura and Audrey, Angel, Sarah Grace and Carrie Beth. If we had waited until January, we would have had two more little ones, but we would have broken our all girl streak.
We've come a long way since Cottingham...
Kittens...the must-have item for any kids' party. Damon and I are planning to rent some for Stella's next bash. They are literally hours of entertainment...
Two heads are better than one...Audrey and Stella demonstrating the word of the day: COOPERATION.
I love the glee on Carrie Beth's face. See what I mean about kittens?
I told you it was like an amusement park...they even have rides!
Patiently waiting for a turn...
Time to swap...
Audrey enjoyed her wild ride with beginning driver Carrie Beth...
Later Miss A gave Nathan a hand in the kitchen, and he gave her a lesson in some good old South Louisiana spicy green beans...
On our way back home we stopped by the Old Man's house for some family time.
Stella shared some giggles with her new friend Alaina.
We had such a fun day and we can't wait for our next reunion! Let's not wait so long before we do it again! Thanks so much to everyone who participated, and thanks most of all to the Sharbonos for opening their home to us! You rock!
