Spring Break in Sandy Annio, Part 1

We finally made it to Sandy Annio and the Alamo shrine!

Victory or Death! Bold words for a 26 year old, but I love that he was confident God was on his side...
Damon and I attended Easter Mass with Mawmaw Shirley at this beautiful historic church...
We took a stroll on the Riverwalk...the kids were unimpressed, but humored me and posed for a photo anyway...

Everyone knows that Pourciaus love a good audio tour!
The kids had a blast at Hemisfair Park.  Watts made a ton of friends who were sad to see him go...

Just relaxing on the floor of the shrine...

We tried to find activities that would appeal to all the members of our family, so Mawmaw and Pawpaw explored the Wildlife Ranch with the kids while we took Mawmaw to church...

We found the best restaurant while we were in Katy.  If you are in the area, stop by Texas Tradition for some delicious vittles.  Our kids recommend the rice and gravy, and Cajun kids know what's up when it comes to that dish...

Corinne's baby really enjoyed the ranch also...

More Sandy Annio fun to come!
