Stella's Easter Party

So...apparently it's a big Parkview tradition to host the kindergarten class Easter parties off campus.  At the beginning of the year I started buttering up our friend Chad who has a kid in Stella's class and a mack daddy yard.  He suggested that we do the party at his mom's house instead, which I could not imagine being better than his house, but I was willing to go with him on.  Turns out his mom's yard is a kid's Utopia...seriously, I just want to go move in with his mother now!  Our kids had an absolute blast playing together in this fantastic backyard...
Stella enjoyed hanging out...

What sweet little friends!
I think I am probably the worst room mom on the planet, but I do know how to coordinate the talents of the other moms in our class.  Like the wonderful mom who made these beauties for our party...
This mom is actually the kids' P.E. teacher, so I am pretty sure she was giving them the "don't get wet" speech...
And this sweet mom picked up my slack by bringing a craft to the party.  The kids loved creating their own marshmallow bunnies...and eating them afterwards...
Stella and her creation...

There was literally enough nice patio furniture for everyone to sit down to eat...
We had their teacher read a few Easter books to them inside while the parents hid eggs.  Then our egg hunt lasted about 45 minutes because the yard had so many great hiding places!

Special thanks to the Carter family for hosting the party of the year!
