Easter Egg Hunt and Magic Show

Because one activity per day is just not enough for our family, after Cotillion Graduation was over we headed straight to CCL for their Easter Egg Hunt and Magic Show!  Luckily, some friends of ours had arrived early and had some great seats left for us at their table.  Here are three sweet girls...(we borrowed one.)

Because it was raining outside, the egg hunt took place inside.  Really it was more of an egg pick-up than a hunt.  Stella ended up just raking eggs off of furniture into her basket...

I love that the staff felt like it was okay for the kids to climb all over the baby grand grabbing eggs.  They really do cater to families...
As you can see in this picture, there were so many eggs Stella was literally stepping on them...

The three and under age group had their own egg hunt in a private room.  Cille could have hunted with this group and dominated, but she wanted to stay with the big girls.  Watts, however, wasn't sure which he enjoyed more: filling up his basket or dumping it out...
I spent most of my time retrieving his eggs for him...

We tried to take a family picture post hunt, with little success...
The wind up...
And the pitch...throw that basket, Wattsy-boy!
So I guess pictures are over...
The girls couldn't wait to explore the contents of their eggs.  I was pleasantly surprised to see that many Christian-themed items were inside.  It was nice to see CCL give a nod to the true meaning of Easter.  Of course, there was also lots of candy inside the eggs, and the kids were more than willing to take care of that...

Lucky for us, the magic show started before they had a chance to completely ruin their supper...

See Watts sitting on his big sister's lap?

Our friend Graham got chosen from the audience to be the magician's helper!  He did a great job and from the looks of it had a great time...

Our little bunnies had a wonderful time at the egg hunt!
