The Family Christmas Party, Part 2

One of the party activities that the little ones really look forward to is their gift exchange.  A few years ago they started pulling names because the gift volume was just getting ridiculous.  Now they get one each and each child gets to choose something special for one of their cousins.  Watts was excited about his basketball goal from Anna and Cade.  Reid was excited to help him open it...
Two beautiful girls...
Two more beautiful girls...
We skipped out on The Nutcracker this year because of time constraints, but Cille got a picture with one anyway...
Benjamin is a very sweet big cousin.  He made sure to play with Claire and Watts and was very gentle with both of them.  A big kid treating him gently was new territory for poor Watts...
...because he is normally the victim of this one.  Note the mischievous gleam in her eyes...
Stella LOVES playing with Anna and asks for her by name throughout the year.  She is always so excited when she finds out Anna will be somewhere that we are...
Sweet brother and sister...
Madison is pretty great with Watts, too.  Note to self: put her on the babysitter list...

Soon it was time to gather for Jeremy's annual reading of the Christmas story...
Stella was amazed that he was reading her Bible verse from school...

Reid is getting to be such a sweetie!  Look at him kissing Cille...

Grace picked out the Elsa doll from Frozen for Cille.  I have never seen Cille so excited over any present.  Ever...
Claire chose a cool craft set for Stella.  I was a mean mommy and wouldn't let her open it until she got home.  In my mind's eye I could already see the disaster that would ensue if Stella started to "craft" in poor Shannon's new house.  The Morgans never would have recovered...

These pictures are a little out of order for some reason.  This was the teamwork going on when Watts was opening his gift.  I love it!

Eventually all the little kids participated...
Then Reid used it as a bed...was it almost bedtime?
Only one more post from this party, I promise!
