Halloween

This year for Halloween we decided to go with a Wizard of Oz theme.  There have been quite a few changes since Stella's 1st Halloween when she was a kangaroo, and her 2nd when she was a cat.  There was the year that she and Cille were the princess and the pea, then last year our family recreated Petite Rouge.

May I present Glinda, the Good Witch of the North, or as Cille prefers, the pink princess...
We all know that Glinda travels by bubble, so Cille had her bubble machine ready in case she needed to make a quick trip...
If he only had a brain...Daddy made a very convincing Scarecrow...
Dorothy Gale and Toto joined the fun, complete with ruby slippers...
Our Cowardly Lion must have spent some time in the poppy field because he was a little drowsy...
Love this one...

Watts was not a fan of his make-up, so it got a little smudged...
Of course the mom has to be the green mean lady, or as Cille called me all night long, the Wicked Witch.  She seriously refused to call me "mom" in this getup...
I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore, Toto...
Let the joyous news be spread, the wicked old witch at last is dead!

I will never again carve initial pumpkins for 5 kids without assistance...
Poppies...poppies will put them to sleep...
So we had lions...and tigers!  But no bears, oh my...

Our Tin Man had a business trip...
Maybe my costume was a little over the top...poor Tucker was terrified of me...
Ready to trick or treat!

Last Halloween Reid was still in the hospital.  What a difference a year makes!
From our gigantic bowl of candy, the girls chose RAISINS!
Our new neighborhood distributes orange ribbons to each house.  If you have treats, you display your ribbon on the mailbox...
Not really sure why we brought the wagon this year...the girls walked the whole way by themselves...

Reid and Tucker thoroughly enjoyed their wagon, though...

Watts made the rounds in his stroller and was a sweet little cub...
See?
Now, to start planning for next year...
