Easter Greetings!

On Easter morning the girls' baskets were waiting for them...

 Cille was really excited about her chocolate bunny...

After church we headed to Mawmaw and Pawpaw's house for more Easter goodies...

Cille's First Haircut

We came back from our fun trip to the beach just in time for Daddy, Stella, Mawmaw, Pawpaw, and Mawmaw Shirley to make it to The Lion King at the Mahalia Jackson Theatre.  Since Cille is still a little too young to sit through a full-length Broadway musical, she and I set out for the Children's Hair Palace in Kenner for her first trip to the beauty salon...  

 Unfortunately, since we were alone, I was only able to take before and after pictures and don't have any from the actual haircut itself.  She was a little nervous when the lady first started, but she calmed down quickly and actually seemed to be enjoying the experience there towards the end...

Beach Babes

We spent most of our spring break at the doctor's office and taking medicine.  Stella had a pretty nasty case of strep throat that she decided we all needed to experience, so even I got a round of antibiotics.  By Friday we all had cabin fever and were ready for some fun in the sun.  We hopped in the truck and hit Longbeach, Mississippi for a sandy-good time...

 Oooh!  It was a little cold...

 Cille LOVED the sand.  I did not think I was going to be able to get her off the beach...

 Stella loves the water.  She is always soaking wet from head to toe within seconds of stepping on the sand...

 Cille also enjoyed pouring bucketfuls of water onto herself...

 The pool back at the hotel was frigid...

 But Stella still had fun showing off her pencil-diving skills.  Olympics, here we come!
