Corinne requested a cooking party for her 7th birthday, which must be a 7th birthday thing!
Her besties were there to help her celebrate...And the cousins...
I clearly did not learn my lesson the first time I hosted one of these parties, because we made just as big a mess this time! Thankfully Nana was there to help us clean it all up...
And to give awesome hugs!
Corinne's birthday party was on her actual birthday, so that morning we woke her up (in Cille's bed, where she was sleeping because we had visitors sleeping in Watts' bed) with BIRTHDAY BREAKFAST in bed...
Not sure why my photos are out of order, but here we are back to the birthday breakfast. This is our family tradition and one that everyone loves except probably Damon, who has been woken up early on his birthday for the past 23 years. He's a little over it...
Madeline made our awesome sign for us. She's a lot more talented than me!
Stella had the great idea to mix the oreo crumbs and cream cheese inside a ziplock, which helped us keep a lot of the crunch off the floor. Thanks, Stella!
We set up a cookie decorating station for the little chefs. This is a great low-cost party activity that kids love...
We made a balloon arch for the entry way and framed Corinne's invitation to add to the decor...Corinne also had a couple of friends come back and spend the night after the party. Love these girls!
Emi had a great time at the party on her way to the LSU game. She's gotta be the cutest Tiger fan in Death Valley!
The next morning Abigail had a special father-daughter event to go to at her church, but Kennedy went to church with us. Unfortunately for Kennedy, Stella killed a deer that morning, so we had to go admire her kill on our way to church. I think Kennedy was a little traumatized...
Sweet freckles and baby fingers!
Mass CHAOS!!!
Happy Birthday, Corinne! These 7 years have flown by, and we can't wait to see what plans God has for your future. We are so thankful for the loving friends and family that He has placed in your life. Remember that you are loved so much by so many!
