A Rainy Day at LCM

Thanks to the torrential downpour that accompanied TS Lee, we spent the weekend finding indoor activities to keep our girls entertained.  The Louisiana Children's Museum offered a roof over our heads and plenty of fun for everyone...
Cille loved the legos...
She shared some with Grandma, too...
Does this porch look familiar?  It's from Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood!
My two Cajuns, making music together...
Stella was paddling her pirogue down the bayou when Claude swam by...
She fed this chicken some gumbo out of her pot.  For the chicken's sake, I hope it was seafood gumbo...
She noticed Claude lurking about on a log and threatened to punch him in the nose!
I told you LCM was fun for the whole family.  Daddy loved the Lincoln Logs...
Stella finally made it to Grandmere's cabin and cooked up some Cajun delights...
"Up on the porch of Grandmere's old house..." (you must LOVE Petite Rouge to get most of these references.)
Later we visited the restaurant...
Stella was a wonderful waitress...
"Your drink, Ma'am..."
The delicious sandwich that Stella made for me...
