The girls were thrilled to perform with the Silver Steppers as part of the pre-game show at the first home football game of the season...
They danced to "Can't Stop the Feeling" by Justin Timberlake and were super cute doing it! Sep 1, 2016
Another One Gone
Cille's teeth are dropping like flies! She refuses to let anyone pull them, so once they are dangling by a thread, it usually takes something random to finish the job. This particular tooth fell victim to the balance beam at gymnastics...
Another recent tooth that she lost fell out while she was asleep! At least she didn't swallow it!

First Day of School
The first day of school was delayed a little by the flood, but soon enough it was time for Cille's first day of 1st grade...
Stella's first day of 3rd grade...
And Watts' first day of Pre-K...
He was a little nervous about it, as you can expect...
This little ham reminded me of another little ham I used to know...
Our big kids...they are growing much too fast for my taste...
I love how Cille is looking up at Stella in this one. She truly does look up to her big sister so much...
Cille and her sweet teacher, Mrs. Foval, and Mrs. Foval's cute baby bump...
Watts and Ms. Dolly. We are so excited that Watts can experience the Ms. Dolly magic, just like Stella and Cille before him...
Have a great school year, everybody!

Living the RV Life, Part 2
We also visited Bathhouse Row in the historic downtown area...
This is the ceiling inside one of the bathhouses...
We hiked the hard way up Hot Springs Mountain and stumbled onto a wedding taking place at the top...
This is the trail we hiked. With a one year old and a four year old, I would like to point out...
Watts was a little sweaty afterwards, but he conquered that trail like a champion...
Cille, too!
Stella's face says it all...
Check out the store name over Stella's shoulder...
Our final adventure of the trip was zip lining. It was a first for Stella and Cille...
They did awesome and loved every minute...
We also took a dip in the campground pool and went tubing on Lake Ouachita. Corinne was a big fan of both...
As a matter of fact, the trip was so exhausting, that this is how Cille fell asleep one night...
The RV really fosters a different kind of family togetherness. I am so glad that we had the opportunity to try it out. We definitely had a great time. Riding around in the RV can be a bit of a white knuckle experience, but Damon did a great job of getting us to and from our destination safely. The historic Baton Rouge flood actually occurred while we were on this trip, so we had to keep the RV for a couple of days while the waters receded enough for us to safely return it to the shop.
