Cohen's 3rd Birthday Bash - Video

If still pictures just weren't enough for you, check out this video to see for yourself how much fun we had at Cohen's 3rd birthday party!

Thanks for a great time, Raneys!  We love y'all!

The Princess Party

On Cille's birthday our local library hosted a princess party, so Stella and Cille's fairy godmothers worked a little magic and got them ready to have a ball...
Cille's fairy godmother couldn't find any princess dresses in her size, so she just sported a birthday princess banner that she borrowed from Stella...
Making your own crown calls for intense concentration...
Every jewel must be placed just so...
But the finished product makes it worth all that effort...
Cille was the friendliest birthday girl ever.  Really.  In this picture she is accosting a nearby princess.  She hugged at least 3 random kids and I am talking hugged them so hard she tackled them to the ground.  She was serious about doling out some affection.  She also repeatedly tried to love on an older little boy in a stroller.  He was not thrilled with her attention...
Stella really was the fairest of them all.  Okay, okay, they were ALL beautiful, but she really was the best at posing like a princess.  See what I mean?
Visit Disneyworld and you, too, can have a mini-princess on your hands...
If she sang I am sure birds and chipmunks would come running...
Before we left she traded in her tiara for the crown that she crafted herself...

Cille's First Taste of The Hole

As most of you already know, we are avid fans of the Donut Hole.  We go see Mr. Jim and enjoy his breakfast delights at least once a week, and sometimes even more often.  Cille has been casting some longing looks at our donuts lately, so on a recent trip to The Hole we decided to let her try one...

I think she likes it!

Cille's Birthday Breakfast

A tradition around our house is birthday breakfast. Daddy has gotten his birthday breakfast for the past 13 years! This morning was Cille's first, so we wore hats...
She was super-excited as she waited for her eggs...
And she washed it all down with a yummy bottle of water...

12 Months of Sweetness

When Stella turned one, I did 12 days of special posts to recap her first 12 months of life. Since we didn't start the blog until Stella was about nine months old, there were lots of things we needed to review. Cille has grown up on the blog, so her first twelve months are pretty well documented. I still wanted to do something special to celebrate her first year, so I decided to choose a favorite photo from each month and share those. Without further ado, 12 months of my sweet one year old girl. Making us a family of four in June...
Playing dress-up in July...
Already smiling with Stella in August...
Hitting the Grand Isle beach in September...
Her first time in the walker in October...
My little pumpkin in November...
In front of our tree in December...
Already crawling in January...
Pinkalicious in February...
First trip to Disney in March...she loved it!
Easter fashion with big sister in April...
Loving Mrs. Missy in May...
And riding her rocket in June...
I can't believe that a year has passed and my precious baby is already a toddler!  I have savored each wonderful minute that God has given me with Cille and I will treasure those special memories in my heart forever.  Happy Birthday, Cille!  We love you very much!

Sleepover

The Guillory girls joined us Wednesday night for a sleepover. We'd been wanting to have them spend the night for a while, and we finally got our schedules right, so hijinks ensued. Of course the girls had to play dress-up.  Presenting, Sade-punzel...
Princess Emma...
Princess Stella? A tiny bride? A flower girl?  Who can tell?
Cille chose to dress up as a little sister/astronaut and ride her rocket...
Talia was a Pinkalicious mommy (even though I think that's a horse in her carrier)....
They eventually got Cille in on the act...
They love their Cilley Beck!
Isn't she tutu cute?

MPA and the Aquarium

Great news, everybody! My sister and her hubby recently discovered the gender of their soon-to-debut bundle of joy, and it's a...drum roll, please...B-O-Y! Little Mohamed Paul will join us sometime near the end of October. His mommy and daddy are so excited!  Can't you just see it on their faces?
Following our celebration lunch, the girls hit up the aquarium, where we were just in time to catch the stingray feeding.  We didn't get to actually feed them, because they were sold out of food, but Stella and Aunt Sarah had a great time touching them.  I had a great time not having to touch them since Aunt Sarah was with us...

Next we visited Parakeet Pointe, where we purchased a couple of feed sticks and made some fine feathered friends...
There is a smile on my face in this picture, but I guarantee you that inside I was DYING!  Anyone who knows me at all knows that I loathe animals, so all these birds were really freaking me out.  Thank goodness Sarah was there to help Stella...
Did I mention that Stella LOVES animals?
Here, birdie, birdie, bird...

Sarah is kind of like Giselle in Enchanted.  Animals just naturally swarm her...

I also feel the need to point out that Sarah is like 21 weeks pregnant in these pictures.  How can she be that skinny?  I'm not even pregnant and I look more pregnant than her.  It's just not fair...

Stella's bird matched her precious shirt that Mrs. Danielle Romaguera made her for her princess birthday party.  She's one talented lady...

I can't remember what was so funny, but they really thought it was hilarious...
Aren't they cute?
Even more so close-up...
Stella and her froggy prince...
There were divers cleaning out the shark tank.  The guy cleaning had two body guards with poles to keep the sharks away from him.  It made me a little nervous for him...
Congrats, Zak and Sarah!  We can't wait to meet our nephew/cousin!
