Stella's Rock Climbing Birthday Party

Stella decided to celebrate her ninth with some rock climbing fun...
Most of our photos from that day are overexposed.  That's  my bad.  I had the flash on the camera and did not realize that it would not auto-adjust when it was not needed.  Oops!
Stella is like an old pro on the wall now and pretty fearless...
Another cute little adventurer from our neighborhood...
Thank goodness Aunt Lacie was there to help out with the harnessing!  This was a very labor intensive birthday party...

Watts makes some pretty hilarious faces...
Savanah was able to join us for the party and the girls were thrilled...
The clouds looked ominous, but luckily, the rain stayed away...
Watts' friend is looking at him like he's crazy...
Corinne doing her Napoleon impression and crowning herself with a baby doll's crown...
We ordered a plain cake from the grocery store and made it a rock climbing cake by using Jelly Belly jelly beans for handholds, Twizzlers for a harness, and a Goldiblox doll for the climber...
Stella chose blue and lime green as her party colors.  Her favors were t-shirts that we designed through Custom Ink that said "Climb Like a Girl," and rock candy with tags attached that said, "Thanks so much for hanging out with us.  Rock climb on!"  Her invitations were ordered from Zazzle and featured a blonde girl rock climbing...

Check out this brave girl...

4 kids on a wall...

Make new friends, but keep the old...
One is silver and the other is gold!
Birthday banner...
We had rock climbing in the front and bouncing in the back...a party mullet, if you will...

We also had horsey rides.  I am not sure why...
The rock wall was fun for kids of all ages...
