More Children's Museum and Sweet Treats with a Sweet Boy

Watts really made the most of his first trip to the Children's Museum...

He was ready to dive right into the fun!

He popped up everywhere...sometimes when he was least expected...
Soon we had pushed our fun way past nap time and all reason, so we decided that we would let the kids rest in the car on our way to Kemah to meet our cousins Jamie and Darren.  Jamie is three months younger than me and we were pretty much inseparable as kids, so it's really special when we have the chance to spend some time with her and her awesome little buddy Darren.  We ate together at a restaurant called T-Bone Tom's, where I kid you not, armadillo eggs were on the menu.  The kids were all very well-behaved and we should have just stopped there, but we are Pourciaus and we never stop when we're ahead.  Instead we took them to Marble Slab for ice cream where Stella and Cille turned into feral children...
Apparently 9 is the age when boys start not wanting to have their pictures taken.  Sorry, Darren, but that's never stopped me before...
Watts discovered Damon's chocolate shake and felt the need to try to drink ALL of it...
See?
Here's Cille with the glaze of sugar in her eyes going ballistic...
Darren had the same amount of sugar or maybe even more and managed to remain calm...

I am a photo ninja and snapped this when Darren accidentally left his guard down...Pourciaus are not above a sneak attack and I have trained the girls well...
It might look like Cille is helping Watts drink the milkshake, but I believe in reality they were fighting over it...

All that milkshake made Watts happy, happy, happy!

The underside of the ice cream parlor looked like this, which made Stella think she was at the Guillory's camp in Grand Isle.  She and Cille spent quite a while chasing Darren around under the building.  Never caught him, though...
It was great to see our family members and to meet a new friend who was with them.  Hopefully we can all get together again soon!
