We had a great time at Ms. Heather's! If you live within driving distance of Hammond, it is definitely worth the trip. Pack a lunch and make it a day!

Our Little Pumpkin
On Saturday Grandmere, Stella, and I followed the May/Guillory/Neyland clan to Ms. Heather's Pumpkin Patch in Hammond for a day of fun.
First stop was the petting zoo, where Stella got on a first-name basis with her Thanksgiving dinner....
She petted this soft bunny rabbit for a few minutes before it escaped from the little girl holding it and was relentlessly and violently chased by a passel of children until recaptured....
She saw some little piggies who had not yet left for market and were definitely not eating roast beef...
She rode a horsey...
Stella refused to smile even though this backdrop was the perfect photo op...
She attempted to ride the hay as well as the horse...
We tried again with Sadie as our helper. Sadie has her picture smile down pat...
She took a little break with Grandmere on the porch swing...
Stella got a pumpkin painted on her hand...
Then she showed it off for the camera...
Next it was time to pick our own pumpkin from the patch...
Next, Stella and Grandmere set out to conquer the blob...
Then it was time to ride this big chicken which Stella called "lunch."
She had her own method for driving the tractor...
But she eventually tried it our way...
This is the face she made after another little boy tried to invade her pumpkin carriage. She was obviously in no mood for visits from Prince Charming...

Looks like a very fun outing for the family.
How do you find all this fun stuff to do?????? I'm so jealous!!! The girls are going to LOVE their week at your house during the summer, and Stella will cry when she has to come to Pineville. :(
