Strawberry Patch, Part 1

We almost waited too late to make it to the strawberry patch this year, but we had a semi-free Saturday, so we squeezed in a trip to Mrs. Heather's...
Stella had a friend sleep over the night before, so she joined us for the fun...

Damon says he feels like we are falling into the trap of taking too many pictures of the baby, but she's just so cute...
Cille opted to have her hand painted instead of her face...

Corinne went for her face...

She was very still while the lady painted her face...
This wiggle worm had his hand painted.  If he had tried for his face she probably would have had to paint his whole head...

Time to pick some berries!

Selfie with Wren!
Daddy took a few pictures of me and Wren and I'm gonna go ahead and post them because I am usually behind the camera.  One day I want the kids to remember what I looked like when they were young...you know, tired and worn out...

Cheese!  Or as Wren says, "Eeeese!"
Let's milk this for all it's worth...

More patch fun to come!

Stellapalooza 2016, Part 3

Time for some cake!

Did I mention our cousins were there?

Stella really loves it when we sing "Happy Birthday" to her...

She gets by with a little help from her friends...er, sisters...
Family photo...thanks, Missy!
Ice cream and cake with friends...
Cille entertaining Pop and Nana...
Zachariah!

Bouncer fun: a staple for every Pourciau party...

We survived another house party!  Thanks to everyone who helped us make Stella's secret spy birthday one that did not self-destruct!

Stellapalooza 2016, Part 2

At the third stop the teams had to assemble a 24 piece puzzle...
If you are wondering why there are no photos of Stella and Aaron, it is because they were so far ahead of me and the rest of the detectives.  Grandma Tonie manned the puzzle station...

The teams who worked together finished much faster than the others.  Teamwork makes the dream work!

Station number four required the teams to solve two brain teasers...
It was fun to watch them "get it"...

So confused...
Now we understand!
The 5th station was our neighbor's house across the street where the kids had to sink a basket before they could get their next clue.  Now that I am typing this I realize our neighbors were out of town when this happened and I am not sure I ever told them about it.  Oops!  The final clue brought the kids to an obstacle course in our backyard.  The kids had to hop in a sack...
Hula hoop...
Jump rope...
And toss three Easter eggs into a basket to finish...
Stella loved her scavenger hunt and thanks to lots of help from Missy, Jamie, Madeline, Marisa, Grandma Tonie, and Damon, it was a big success!
