Disney 2015, Part 7

So, as it turns out there is a "lost day at Disney," at least as far as photos are concerned.  On Tuesday we visited Hollywood Studios.  We had a lunch reservation at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater around 11, and we were dragging that morning so we did not make it to the park in time to do anything other than race to the restaurant.  After that, we fast-passed the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, Midway Mania, and the Frozen Sing-A-Long Celebration in pretty short order.  We finished those just in time to make our dinner reservation at Hollywood and Vine.  We ate there so that we could do the Fantasmic Dinner Package and get reserved seating for Fantasmic.  For the second trip in a row this back-fired, and the show was rained out.  When planning our next trip, I will not spring for the Fantasmic Dinner Package for a couple of reasons: 1. We don't use park hopper passes because they don't make a lot of sense for our family and the way we move, so since this was our only day in Hollywood Studios we couldn't take a rain check on the reserved seating and just catch another performance.  2. You can fast pass Fantasmic, so it makes more sense to fast pass for free than to pay top dollar for mediocre food in order to get a benefit that you can't use because of inclement weather. Can you tell I was a little peeved about missing the show?  Anyway...

We did Magic Kingdom on Monday and again on Wednesday, so it's hard to remember what exactly we did Monday and what we did Wednesday.  I do know that the Be Our Guest Restaurant was our last event, so these pictures are from our last night at Disney.  Watts...
What is he doing with that silverware?  Boys are so weird...
Stella stealing Corinne's kisses...
I have no idea what he is doing.  We were all a little delirious by this point in the trip...
This is how Corinne likes to sleep.  We think she may have been stuck this way in the womb...
Pawpaw was a little worn out by this time.  Does it show?
Cille was still going strong!
As was Stella...Mawmaw, not so much...
What's wrong, buddy?

Nothing!
I...
love...
this...
boy!!!
Watts and one of his favorite gals who is not also his sister.  Seriously, one of his first words was "Caroline"...
Good grief.  Selfie with Dad.  The narcissistic generation at its finest...
Our family with the Beast...
He's a big guy...
We once again had a fun and exhausting vacation at Disney.  We usually take 2 years off between trips but I think I might need more time to recuperate before I can do this again.  My best lesson learned on this trip was that you need to schedule all your fast passes for as early in the day as possible because you cannot be issued additional fast passes until you have used all three of your initial passes.  Does that make sense?  I hope so.  Have a magical day!

Disney 2015, Part 6

Following our ride on the 8th wonder of the world, we set out for Maurice's cottage where we had a fast pass to Enchanted Tales with Belle.  During our last Disney trip I missed this attraction because I was stuck in the infant care center nursing Watts, so I was especially excited to see what it was like.  So was Watts, obviously...
I mean, the excitement is written all over his face...Pawpaw's too...

Stella was chosen to be Maurice!
And Cille was Mrs. Potts!  She was sure to inform them that last time she had been a plate...
After story time we rode the regal carousel...

Yay!  Mom gets to ride!
Shout out to Corinne for being so great with her feeding schedule that we didn't miss much...

Check Pawpaw's face in this one.  He is obviously having the time of his life...
Watts had so much fun he needed a stroller nap...
Turns out we ALL needed a nap.  We went back to the room and rested before heading back to the Magic Kingdom to meet Cinderella...

And Rapunzel...

And ELSA!!!!

And Anna!

Disney 2015, Part 5

Following breakfast, we headed over to the Magic Kingdom and started our day with a fast pass to meet "Ariel with a Tail" as we call her...
The whole family (minus grandparents) and Ariel with a Tail...
Watts wasn't looking so we tried that one again...yep.  He's still not looking...
Waiting in line for Dumbo is really a treat when you get to play under the big top, but make sure that you get a "potty pass" if you have to exit to take your 6 year old to the restroom...you know, the kid that you just asked if they had to go to the restroom before you got in line for the ride 5 minutes ago...
Speaking of which, how did the Disney Imagineers FORGET to include a restroom in the design for this ride?  Seems like it would have been a pretty logical addition to me...
The wait is over!
Me and my buddy...he loves to "go around and around"...

Selfie by the guy with the camera...Pawpaw and Corinne didn't ride...
We're flying!  Zoom in for Cille's look of utter delight.  It is so worth it!

The non-riders...

Big kids...

Cille wanted to take a picture by herself in the fake Dumbo, but Watts thought that it was a real ride and refused to get out.  We had a tough time explaining to him that it was just a photo op...
More Disney fun to come!
