Plotting

You know that commercial that says some of the best pictures in the world are taken on iPhones?  Well, I have to agree, because as Damon likes to say, the best camera is the one you have with you.  On a recent outing to the Audubon Zoo with the Guillory girls, the girls all huddled up to plot against the moms.  While they were scheming, I quickly flipped my phone to the front facing camera, stuck it inside the group, and caught this little gem...
How cute are these friends?  The younger kids have literally been friends with each other all of their lives.  I am so glad that I was quick enough to capture their sweet innocence and love for each other.

Pumpkin Patch: with Reid and Tucker

Guess who else joined us at the pumpkin patch?  Our cousins Reid and Tucker!  Saturday also happened to be their 2nd birthday, so we felt extra special to get to celebrate with them on their special day!
They're big boys now, but they started off pretty tiny...
Aunt Lacie figured out a neat way to make the wheels go round...
Then came the attack of the sunscreen monster, also known as Aunt Sheila...

I think this is the first picture of her from that day, but Mawmaw accompanied us to the pumpkin patch and was a HUGE help to mommy...
Tucker had a blast on the blob...
Watts liked it, too....

He thinks he is a big boy like Tucker and Reid...

Guess who finally arrived? Daddy!  I don't even want to know how fast he drove to get there because he arrived long before I expected him...
In the corn...
Two of my loves...
I like the way Stella is looking at her daddy in this one.  She adores him...
I think the Kemp boys' favorite activity was the slide...

You could hear their laughter echoing down the tube...

I imagine this is exactly how it was in the womb...poor Lacie!

Stella enjoyed showing Reid around and he enjoyed letting her...

Look who woke up from his nap?  Watts was a real trooper.  He took a nap on the way to the patch and then finally succumbed for about 30 minutes near the end of the day, but after that he was back in action...

Stella ran into one of her classmates from Ms. Dolly's class and they had a great time playing together...

Here's Watts, signing off from the pumpkin patch...

Pumpkin Patch: with Molly Jane

Shortly after the dates left, Stella got a wonderful surprise.  Molly Jane came to the pumpkin patch!  When Stella saw her, she took off at a sprint to give her a hug.  Isn't it great to be reunited with friends? I think this is a little glimpse of what heaven will be like...
The girls wanted to do a little milking...
And try out their muscles on a few pumpkins...
Girls are so much more cooperative at picture taking!
This one just makes my heart happy...

Besties!
Cille checked out Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater's pumpkin prison and decided that his wife had it rough...

A lot's changed since 2009...

I seriously don't know where they come up with these poses.  I do NOT teach them this...

Cille and Watts had a blast playing with these inflatable horses...

This little girl chased Watts all around the horse pen until he gave her a hug.  She obviously has a good eye for handsome...

Back in the corn but not too sure about it...

Cille's favorite part of the day was when she had me in the teepee all to herself and she taught me to make "grass soup"...
In case you ever wondered what the view was like from inside the teepee...
Maybe we have trained the girls to pose a little too well.  When this toy broke and dumped her in the sand, Cille never broke her smile...
Note to self: seesawing with a three year old will kill your quads...

Think we're through?  Not a chance!  One more pumpkin patch post to come!
