Greased Lightnin' Halloween

The annual argument over what to be for Halloween got a little interesting this year.  Stella decided to be a Pink Lady with her friends, and we all jumped on the Grease bandwagon.  Watts was somewhat reluctant and only agreed to be Danny Zuko if he was allowed to change after family photos.  The kids all had friends join us for trick or treating as well... 

Gracie's brother arrived as himself, but found his way into a cow costume somehow...

The Graves joined us as well.  Next year Natalie and Vince will know that the whole family has to go ALL IN...

I was a Rydell High cheerleader and Damon was an auto shop worker.  Stella made his costume with her vinyl machine and it looked great.  Sadly, we didn't take any photos of it from the back...

Stella's Last Jr. Stepper Field Performance

Stella closed a chapter of middle school life this past Tuesday night by performing at her last middle school football game.  Here's the group of 8th graders that played and performed that night.  Most of these kids have been together since kindergarten, some even before then...

Pop and Nana came in for the performance and stayed to help us celebrate afterwards...

The 8th graders were presented on the field and when Stella was asked what she liked most about Junior Steppers she said, "Getting to spend time training with Londyn, Kaitlyn, and Tranane, and watching how they put so much time and effort into every dancer that they coach."  We are so thankful for these ladies and the way they have poured into Stella and Cille this year...

Next time we see her on the field she'll be a Silver Stepper! Congratulations, Stella! 
 

Orange Beach

The summer was so busy with dance and baseball that we never made it to the beach, so a little fall break getaway to Orange Beach was just what the doctor ordered!  

The boys were gone hunting, so the girls each brought a friend to the beach...
