Happy Birthday, Watts!

Birthday breakfast with this big 8 year old boy!
Watts' birthday was on a Friday during the last few days of summer, so he got to have his party on his actual birthDAY...

Since this was a pandemic party, we kept the guest list small and the birthday boy decided which friends he wanted to invite.  Like most 8 years olds, he chose one friend his own age, two high schoolers, a college kid, the librarian at his school, and our music minister's family (their kids are in college and high school also).  That's totally normal, right?
Nana and Spencer spent the night with us, which meant crepes for breakfast!  Yum, yum!
Graham has got to be on of the nicest kids on the planet...
I'm not sure if Brock had more fun playing with Watts or with Damon...

It's not a party without Watts' extra sister...

Corinne's First Day of Dance

Dance class is a rite of passage in our house for the girls, and Corinne was eager to continue the tradition with her first day of dance class at Tari's School of Dance...
She's lucky enough to already have some sweet friends in her class...

Corinne and Abigail are preschool besties and the cutest little ballerinas around!

All three girls on their first day of dance class...

Sharbies on the Beach

Your summer beach friend time is not complete until you have spent some time in the sand with the Sharbono family!  Sadly, the dads, Stella, and Watts were not able to join us on this trip, but we did not let that rain on our parade...
We even cleaned up the kids one night and took photos on the beach...

I was too lazy to clean up my own kids, but I still took lots of photos on the beach...
