Grandparents at the Beach

Our second group of special guests at the beach were the grandparents!  The kids went wild...

The beach is not really Mawmaw or Pawpaw's idea of the perfect vacation, but they know the kids love it, so they are always willing to take one for the team...

Because honestly, who could resist beach cuddles this cute? 

We scheduled our annual family portraits while Mawmaw and Pawpaw were at the beach with us and coordinated all the outfits, which is quite a feat for 8 people...

Stella was even able to take about 24 hours off of dance to appear in the family portraits and get her toes sandy! 

Cille was pumped to open birthday presents from the grandparents.  We don't limit them on birthdays so they always go way overboard...

The photographer's version of this pose ended up being the back of our Christmas card...

We had a great time making family memories on the beach! 

Doin' It for the 'Gram

After our first round of guests left, Cille, Corinne, and I found ourselves alone on the beach.  Watts was home playing baseball, Stella was home dancing, and Daddy was home parenting and working. What better time for some fun beach photo shoots? 

Cille's abs make me never want to eat again...

Corinne is rocking sunglasses that Stella has had since infancy.  How have we managed to lose so many things in the past 12 years, including our sanity, but we held onto a pair of cheap baby sunglasses? 

I love this kid! I love them all, but this one is just so much fun that it's contagious!
