Watts and Ice Cream

We had to wait a little while for Stella and Watts to get their nap out...
Eventually they woke up and were ready to go...

Got your nose!

This is one of my favorite pictures of our little buddy...
We decided it was time for some refreshment...

How many baby wipes do you think it took to get Pawpaw un-sticky after this?

Daddy is always willing to help get chocolate off your head.  He's good like that...

This picture pretty much captures the essence of Cille at age 2.  Full of energy and a fun-loving gal!

Animal Kingdom Friends

After our tummies were full, we had time to do a couple of character meet and greets before heading to the Lion King show.  The girls were happy to see Chip and Dale...

King Louie and Baloo were awful nice...

I was nervous that Watts might be intimidated by the characters, but he was a big brave boy...
Waiting in line is always a bit of a challenge for little ones.  The girls did a great job and were happy and upbeat most of the time.  Cille even held a stranger's hand in line for about 2 minutes.  It was a dad who had several little girls with him.  Cille thought she was holding Damon's hand and he thought he was holding hands with one of his kids.  Neither one of them ever realized, and eventually Cille just let go.  I was cracking up...
Watts was the perfect child at Disneyworld.  He rarely fussed or cried.  He was just like Cille on her first trip.  I am so thankful that God gave us such happy babies!
Pocahontas was our first princess this trip...

Cille cracked her up...
All that socializing can really wear you out...
She was back up and at 'em in time for the Festival of the Lion King...

The morning was so much fun, but a little exhausting at the same time...

Tusker House

We had another chance to visit the most magical place on earth over Mardi Gras break.  This was Watt's 1st trip to Disney World, and Cille's second, but probably the first one that she will remember.  Damon and I carefully planned out our itinerary,  together this time.  Last time he did all the planning solo, but I helped out this time and we attempted to learn from the mistakes we made last time.  Our biggest mistake last trip was not staying long enough, and we actually overcorrected a bit this time, but we still had tons of fun.  So, without further ado, let the memories begin!

We started on Saturday in Animal Kingdom.  We followed Tour Guide Mike's advice and tried to avoid parks on their most crowded days.  Animal Kingdom had a green flag for Saturday and we knew we could probably knock it out in one day, so that's what we did.  On our way into the park...

We started our day with a yummy breakfast at one of our favorite Disney restaurants: Tusker House! Stella was a little shy when we first met Donald...
But she warmed up...
The whole gang...

After our photo op we waited a while for a table...

It was early in the morning so some of us were still a little sleepy...
Once inside we chowed down on a delicious breakfast and got to visit with some old friends...

It was a little too much for Watts...
We were having such a good time that we ate very slowly, and ended up helping them close down the restaurant...this will kind of become the theme of our trip...
