Isolation Continues...

As the quarantine dragged on, we got even more creative in our daily activities.  The kids formed teams and dressed alike...

They went camping in the backyard...

They spent A LOT of time in the pool...

They tried out new recipes...

And we even tried out some new facial fashions in preparation for our return to the real world...

 

The Front Porch Project

With all that time on our hands, what could be more fun than a family photo shoot in the front yard?  We were excited to participate in the Front Porch Project.  Since most stores were closed and going out was discouraged, we rifled through our finest hand-me-downs to assemble our ensembles...

Everyone in the family wore at least one hand-me-down item, except Dad.  Loser...

Still on Lockdown

Two weeks turned into...well, a lot longer than two weeks.  😕 So, let's take a look at some other things we did during the quarantine. 

Corinne Zoomed with her Pre-K class...

Stella attended Sunday school via Zoom...

Mrs. Dolly sent the parents a photo to help the kids remember happier times with their big buddies from earlier in the year...

Cille took ballet class, in a sling, on Zoom...

Corinne's class prayed together that we could all be reunited soon...

And I taught Sunday school on Zoom...

The madness continues...
 

Headshots

Before the lockdown, Parkview was all set to present their annual high school musical, and this year the show is Beauty and the Beast.  Headshots for the program were done, so I wanted to share our beautiful dancer's portraits, special thanks to Ron Moore and Rempics! 

Fingers crossed with still get to see the show!  
 

Junior Steppers!

Another thing we did virtually this year was Junior Stepper Auditions!  Stella was thrilled to make the team for a second year, and Cille was excited to be a first time Junior Stepper!  

The sponsors and coaches surprised them with a visit and yard signs, which the neighborhood allowed us to keep up for a couple of days before fussing about them...

Way to go, ladies!  We can't wait to see you on the field this fall! 
 

Easter Greetings

Easter at home was a little different, but a great time to reflect on the sacrifice that our Savior made for the world.  We watched our Easter service online and participated in the Lord's Supper with grape juice in children's medicine dosage cups and snack size club crackers...

Sweet Mrs. Anna also sent the kids some Easter signs to paint.  They had a blast crafting those!
