Our Little TOT

Cille recently started participating in the TOT program at her school.  TOT stands for Teams of Tomorrow and they use basketball handling drills to help kids work on hand-eye coordination and reinforce other learning.  Cille kind of got into the class by accident.  I sent her to a free trial class to check it out for her brother since he's not old enough to participate until next year, and she loved it so much that she started begging us to let her do it.  Her group had the chance to perform as part of the Harlem Globetrotters pre-game show at the River Center so we went to cheer her on.  Here she is making her way onto the court...
Waving at her fans from her spot...
 Game face...

 What skill!

I love this one.  She is having a great time...

She dribbles as gracefully as her mother...

 What a cutie!
 Clapping for herself...
 And waving goodbye...
The kids made it through about half of the Globetrotters' show before they were ready to leave.  While basketball purists may not enjoy the Globetrotters, I was very entertained by their act and would have loved to stay for the whole performance.  It really took me back to my childhood because I remember watching the Globetrotters' cartoons as a kid.  Great performance, Cille!
