Trick or Treating Down the Bayou (Part 3)

After lots of pictures, we finally got our pirogue rolling down the bayou...

Claude called our friends from across the neighborhood to see where we could meet them...
Who knew that Claude had a pink cell phone?  That gator is full of surprises...
Cille tried to sample her loot early...

Missy was kind enough to take a couple more group shots for us...

Stella had had enough pictures and was ready for candy!

Best buddies!

Is that Rapunzel?  No, that beautiful long hair belongs to our friend Katelyn...

Cille was very eager to run to the front door on her own to get candy.  Sometimes she lost interest before it was her turn to get any, but she had a blast exploring new places...

One of the things Cille wanted to investigate was this Mickey pumpkin inflatable in a yard...

"No, Pawpaw!  I want to walk!"
Katelyn dressed as Rapunzel and her daddy was Flynn Rider.  He stole her crown...(only the daddy of girls could have this much confidence wearing a plastic crown!)
Cille eventually found her favorite person...

They were both kitties!
And so was Molly!

This is how Hot Sauce spent most of the night: chasing Cille...

Grand-mere had to keep Claude in his place...
He was very intimidated...
Eventually TeJean started to get a little worn out...
On our way back home we met Amari.  She was in my class at school a few years ago and she was dressed as Red Riding Hood also, so she and Stella took a picture together...

They were both a little tired at this point so they cuddled in the pirogue on the way home...
We had one final stop to make: our own house to trick or treat with Grandma Tonie...

After we were inside it was time to check out the loot.  What this means in our house is that Mommy and Daddy rifle through your candy and take out everything that contains peanuts or could contain peanuts.  Poor Stella has to ask before she eats anything...

We had a great time with our family and friends on Halloween. Now we just have to come up with costume ideas for next year...
